Carmen attended the Imperial Career Institute in Victoria, B.C., graduating with honours in Esthetics in 1989. Upon graduation she became a member of the Professional Estheticians Association of B.C., and opened Carmen Day Spa.
Carmen has since been educated in makeup artistry at Sebastian International, permanent makeup at Bio Touch Canada, as well as being trained in reflexology, microdermabrasion, and photorejuvenation. She has also furthered her education and knowledge through courses with Dr. Renaud, Murad, Yonka, and Biodroga, as well as being an annual participant in the Esthetique Spa International Convention in Vancouver.
